Job Summary

We are seeking a Payroll Clerk to manage weekly payroll processing for 450 hourly warehouse employees utilizing SAP. You will ensure compliance with federal and state labor regulations while advancing through our established internal promotion framework. You will serve as On-Site, delivering the signature Methodical that sets Costco apart in the payroll administration.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Process Weekly Payroll: Process bi-weekly payroll for 450 employees using SAP and Kronos timekeeping software with zero tolerance for calculation errors.
• Audit Time Records: Audit electronic punch logs and supervisor approvals for over 350 hourly staff members every Monday morning prior to payroll submission.
• Resolve Wage Discrepancies: Investigate and resolve 15 to 20 employee pay discrepancies per pay cycle by reviewing shift differentials and overtime calculations.
• Generate Compliance Reports: Generate 5 mandatory monthly labor compliance reports using Microsoft Excel pivot tables and advanced VLOOKUP formulas.

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is strictly required for this position.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, including overtime calculations and tax withholdings.
